About CapyJob
CapyJob brings together jobs that big job sites bury among thousands of others. In California we list office and analyst jobs; retail, food and service jobs, including part-time; registered nurses (RN) and LVNs, dental assistants, medical assistants, X-ray technicians, CNAs and phlebotomists; warehouse, forklift and delivery jobs; assemblers and production workers; and electronics, maintenance, HVAC and auto technicians. We also list remote jobs for video editors, UGC creators, motion designers and AI video producers that are open to people in the US. The list refreshes every three hours, and jobs older than 30 days are removed.
Where the jobs come from
We always link to the original post and name the source. Listings come from:
- Jooble, a job search engine, for California jobs and remote work.
- USAJOBS, the official site for U.S. government jobs, for federal jobs in California such as VA hospitals and military bases.
- LA County job listings, from the county's public job feeds.
- Public career pages of California employers.
- Remote job boards for video work: Remotive, Remote OK, We Work Remotely, Himalayas, Jobicy, The Muse, Working Nomads and Arbeitnow.
- Employers who post jobs directly.
- Jobs marked “Sponsored” come from our partner Lensa. We may earn a small fee when you click one. They open on Lensa. Some job guides also link to online courses on Udemy; those are affiliate links, so CapyJob may earn a small commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you.
How we choose what to show
For California jobs, we keep in-person jobs whose title matches the job types above, and skip senior management, engineering, software and sales-rep roles. For remote work, we keep jobs that are open to people in the US and whose title is about video, and skip roles that only share a word, like copy editors or video game programmers. We only list jobs written in English. Jobs drop off the board when they disappear from the source, and every job is removed 30 days after it was posted. If something slips through, tell us.
Guides written for job seekers
Our job guides explain what each job is like, the training and licenses California requires, and how to get hired, with links to the official state agencies so you can check the details yourself.
We don't hire, and we don't charge job seekers
We're not the employer and we don't take part in hiring. Applying is always free and happens on the original post. The site is supported by ads, and some links to training and resume services are affiliate links: we may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you.
