Privacy policy
This policy explains what information CapyJob ("we") collects when you use capyjob.com.
Job seekers
You can browse and search jobs without an account. We don't ask for your name or email to view jobs. When you click Apply, you go to the original job post on another website, whose own privacy policy applies.
Companies posting jobs
When you post a job we store the details you enter, including your contact email, to review and publish your post and to contact you about it. Your email is not shown on the site.
Visit counts
To see which pages and jobs are useful, we count page views, clicks on Apply and sponsored jobs, shares and the words typed into job search. Your browser stores a random ID (not a cookie) so we can count visitors without knowing who you are. We don't store names, emails or IP addresses with these counts, and we delete the detailed counts after 90 days. You can clear the ID at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Advertising and cookies
We show ads through Newor Media and Google AdSense. Newor Media works with advertising partners (for example Google, Sovrn, OpenX, PubMatic, Magnite and others listed in our ads.txt) that may use cookies, device identifiers and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see them, measure how they perform and, where allowed, show ads based on your interests. These partners collect this information directly from your browser, under their own privacy policies.
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads based on your visits to sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. Your ad choices
You can opt out of interest-based ads from many ad companies at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org, and adjust Google's ads at Google Ads Settings. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies. If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they may be less relevant.
California residents
Under California law (CCPA/CPRA), you can ask what personal information we have about you, ask us to delete or correct it, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your information for targeted advertising. We don't ask for your name or email to browse jobs. Our advertising partners may use cookies as described above, which California law can treat as "sharing". To opt out, use the links in "Your ad choices" or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. For other requests, use our contact page. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.
Service providers
Our site is hosted on Netlify, and job listings and job posts are stored with our database provider (Supabase). They process data only to provide those services. Jobs marked “Sponsored” come from our partner Lensa; when you click one, you go to Lensa’s website, where Lensa’s privacy policy applies. We don’t send Lensa your name or email. Some job guides also include affiliate links to online courses on Udemy (through the Impact network); if you buy a course after clicking one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you, and Udemy’s privacy policy applies on their site.
Your choices
To ask us to delete a job post or the contact details you sent us, use our contact page.
Children
This site is intended for adults looking for work and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We'll update this page if our practices change, with a new date at the top.
